I primarily approach relational therapy using the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, which frames difficulty or conflict in relationships not as a sign of dysfunction, but as a normal, developmental process that every relationship must go through in order to progress to further stages. I also draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Nonviolent Communication in order to deepen your understanding of yourselves and each other, and to help you practice more confident, compassionate, and effective communication strategies. I have extensive experience working with trans and queer folks, polyamory/ethical nonmonogamy, kink, and sex-positivity.
I will always have sessions available via telehealth, and I'm licensed in both Washington and Oregon. Even if you prefer in-person sessions, we can use video sessions as backup when needed.
I offer in-person sessions from my home office in Port Orchard, WA. Please note that I have some specific requirements due to my office being attached to my home.
